A “Notice on the Results of Demonstration Project Sites of Construction Quality and Safety Standardization at Autonomous Region-Level in 2020" (Ning Jian (Jian) Fa [2020] No. 56) was issued recently by the Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Pengyang County Ping’an Bridge Project, undertaken by Ningxia Communications Construction Co., Ltd, was identified as a Demonstration Project Site of Construction Quality and Safety Standardization at Autonomous Region-Level.
The Project with four traffic lanes and located in the west of Pengyang County, is a main road connecting County and Pengyang--Qingshizui Expressway. Main part of the project is Ping’an Bridge crossing Ru River. The bridge is continuous five-span slab-rib deck arch bridge with box-girder sections.
During its construction, all inspection teams from Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureaus of Pengyang County and Guyuan City, and Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region expressed their recognition and spoke highly of the project in their comprehensive inspections. In October of 2020, the project received a notice of commendation circulated by Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Pengyang County, and then upon recommendation by the same after its assessment, Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region organized experts for a reassessment and put the result on publicity, after it was confirmed there was no objection, the project was finally identified as a Demonstration Project Site of Construction Quality and Safety Standardization at Autonomous Region-Level of the year 2020.
